This is the state of the book (written in English) and the slides (in German language) at the beginning of the lecture period of Summer Semester 2026 at Hefei University (合肥大学).
This is the content that I have planned for the lecture in this semester.
Maybe I will change it on the way.
Hopefully I will find and fix errors and typos.
But if you download this release, you have at least a sound basis for what is going to come in the semester.
Attached to this release, you can find the file programmingWithPython_2026_03_04.tar.xz, which is an archive with all the PDF documents of the book and the slides (in German language) and the example source files.
You can download and extract it either with tar or WinRar or some other tools.
This is much easier than downloading all slides and the book one-by-one.
The file programmingWithPython_sources_2026_03_04.tar.xz contains the complete sources of the book, the German slides, the shared basics packages, and some tools that I developed for building the book and the slides.
This may not be useful for you, but for me it is basically a backup.
Of course, both files are only representing this very state in time.
