According to http://springfield.pm.org/meetings/ this was originally
written for the July 11, 2000 Springfield.pm meeting as an example of a
simple daemon (which uses Socket.pm, fork(), and other stuff).

This script expects to find lwall-quotes.txt.gz in the current
directory.  Get it from
