Revamp 2026

Many changes in this PR, and more to come soon after some internal discussion.

Changes include:

• Removal of store header as its inactive and has been for some time
• Added mentions of Instagram as its now a key platform
• Added hackathon 2025 and alluni 2025 to competitions page
• Archived 2025 competitions
• Added 2024 and 2025 talks to talks page (This has been done as single embeds instead of playlists as I personally thought the playlists made it seem there was only one talk as its not clear it is a playlist. This can be changed and I'd like some input)
• Changed the connect page to link to instagram instead of facebook as its a more active and widely used platform among young people
• Changed some wording around events scheduling
• Changed some main page formatting (just centering text that should be centered)

Feedback is appreciated, main changes coming soon will include updating the images to be more recent, industry page completion, sponsor page updates, and community page updates.

Yay website updates!

On the ideas of the talks page, maybe we can have a grid of images that link to YouTube rather than all the embeds. Perhaps similar to the Showcase?

A thought: Do we need to keep ticket/registration links in events considering it's occurred in the past? I bring it up as this links to something we don't control so it may become a dead link in the future.

Good point! I'll do this tonight or tomorrow if I get time :) I'm tempted to leave pre-2024 as the same as it was though because converting that is... lots of effort.
