This wiki focuses primarily on the installation, setup and use of the software for the virtual window.
For build instructions, parts list and more, please see the Resinchem Tech Blog.
At a minimum, you will need a TV or monitor with HDMI input. It is recommended that you use a WiFi-enabled smart TV if you want to use the display for purposes other than a virtual window. But this is not required for the virtual window portion.
You will also need a Raspberry Pi (Raspberry Pi 4 with at least 4GB RAM recommended), and the necessary power supply, HDMI cables, etc. The blog article above provides a complete list of parts for both the frame and the electronics/wiring.
A 3D printer is used for some parts of the build. Again, this is not required, but you may need to make some adaptations to the frame and build if you do not have access to a 3D printer. If you do, 3D models for the parts used in this build can be found in the \stl folder for your use or modification.
