Instead of passing an array of already selected Items, we pass the Items subset SQL; this should fix possible issues with very large Items array
Search of existing items was ignoring the search parameter (advanced search)
Fixed bug with browsing items or collections when "browse" subfolder not in URL. Fixed bug with parameters. Added functions to optimize code.

Tried to contact you before, as I noticed that the version of the plugin on your website is working fine while the github one is not (at least on my Chrome browser), but did not received any reply.
So I've forked your version and worked on it, fixing some bugs, speeding up SQL and adding additional configuration.
If you find it useful, you might incorporate it into your version.
Please let me know should you need any extra detail.
