Not saving settings

Prerequisites

• I verified that this is not a filter list issue. Report any issues with filter lists or broken website functionality in the uAssets issue tracker.
• This is NOT a YouTube, Facebook or Twitch report. These sites MUST be reported by clicking their respective links.
• I performed a cursory search of the issue tracker to avoid opening a duplicate issue.
• The issue is not present after disabling uBO in the browser.
• I checked the documentation to understand that the issue I am reporting is not normal behavior.

I tried to reproduce the issue when...

• uBO is the only extension.
• using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

Customized settings for websites are not being saved. Sites revert to default uBlock settings when site is reopened.

A specific URL where the issue occurs.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/

Steps to Reproduce

Make custom settings for site.
Open site the next day.
Custom setting are gone.

Settings to be saved

Actual behavior

Customized settings for websites are not being saved

this doesn't work for me. i have ublock and site settings are not being saved when i click the lock.

i allow or disallow a script for a site, click the lock. Many sites are not saving correctly.

I have many sites i visit regularly, that are changed backed to default settings, even when i click the lock on them many times.

I'm using Brave on linux, ublock 1.69.0
