[BUG] topologies with virtual DAI don't work with older kernel

Filing a bug as I think we have virtual DAIs used in previous PRs as well, so let's track the dependencies in this bug.

New releases of topology files need to work with older versions of kernel (exception new platforms that anyways need a new kernel).

I think we need to revert [1] this for production, it will break fucntion topologies on pre 7.0, NVL is supposed to be usable w/ 6.19..
Then we need to figure out what to do...
