What could prevent taxonomy routes from auto-generating for one collection but not another?

What could prevent taxonomy routes from auto-generating for one collection but not another?

I have two collections using the same taxonomy (event_types), but automatic taxonomy routes only work for one of them:

Working (test collection):

• Collection handle: test
• Route: test/{slug}
• URLs work: /test/event-types, /test/event-types/online
• Views:

resources/views/test/event_types/show.antlers.html
resources/views/test/event_types/index.antlers.html

Not working (events_2 collection):

• Collection handle: events_2
• Route: events-2/{slug}
• URLs 404: /events_2/event-types, /events_2/event-types/online
• Views:

resources/views/events_2/event_types/show.antlers.html
resources/views/events_2/event_types/index.antlers.html

Both collections have taxonomies: event_types in their YAML config.

• The views exist in the correct locations with identical structure to the working test collection.
• No errors in logs, just 404s. Cache cleared.

What I've tried:

• Changed route from events-2/{slug} to events_2/{slug} (no change)
• Cleared all caches (route, view, stache)
• Verified views exist and have correct naming

I'd prefer to use Statamic's auto-routing.

Clearing the cache php artisan optimize:clear appears to have fixed this... However, I've tried this multiple times and it didn't work?
