HDS2202S: Freezing when trying to display measurements

Thank you very much for the application! I checked it on my hds2202s and it works. There is still a problem with the program freezing when switching the display of measurements, but I hope that you will fix it.

Hey there, I don't have that model, and there's likely differences in the bugs present between different models and firmware versions. I assume it gets stuck when you try to enable measurements? My guess is that the support for some of the undocumented ones is removed.

You could try running these commands manually, through the tinker-cli and see which ones return something (and ideally document if/what and how exactly they are returning data). If they don't work at all I'd need access to a firmware update file to see if I can find something in there.

In my case, the program freezes when I press the eneble measurements button fm ver 2.1.0

For this model, I found firmware version 1.1.0 on the Internet. Take a look, there might be some useful information.

Can you explain how can I use Tinker-Cli? Should I clone source files and build it to get
access to debug console? Is there some method to get access to debug console?
If I must build source files, could you please report me about it. I have never worked with
Rust programs. Which make/compiler/IDE or libraries should I use? Which OS better to use? Thank you!

Oh right, I've compiled it for you here so you don't have :

Whenever it gets stuck, CTRL+C out of it and reboot the oscilloscope.

You can start with typing :DATa:WAVe:SCReen:HEAD? and pressing enter. It should give you a JSON-ish response of the oscilloscope configuration:

Then, if that works, set up a signal (e.g. the 1 kHz calibration one on the device itself) and try the some of the measurement requests like:

Ideally try all of them and let me know what they output (if anything). Thank you!

could you repro the issue with this build? it'll open a console window and spam lots of things into it. once it gets stuck it should stop spamming. please send over the last bunch of lines when it gets stuck 👍

I tested your debug version for 20 minutes and it does not freeze) Version 0.1.2 freezes when pressing measurement output
