-c vs -m

Hi, thanks for making this tool. So this is really just a question, not a true issue, but I am wondering why you have chosen the consensus caller (-c) rather than the multiallelic caller (-m)? The bcftools documentation says that -m is recommended "for most tasks" but doesn't really provide any info on the differences between the two.
