Only small portion of the window reacts to clicking

In this screenshot, only blue area reacts to clicking and allows me to type (no matter if there is text or not). Is that the intended behaviour? I would more expect that clicking anywhere in the orange rectangle would allow me to type.

Ya, that's how it works at the moment. I used an "Entry" widget to implement the text boxes, but I think I should have used a "TextArea" widget. Entry is meant to be be a single line but I forced it into a multi-line configuration and ended up with this strange state where the entry is in the middle and grows in both directions to fill the box.

I will be looking into switching from Entry to a TextView which might just fix a number of minor issues, mainly the inability to have scrollbars work correctly.

I hope to get working on this in the next few days as long as I can drag myself away from working on one of my other projects called Blur Cinnamon which I have been spending far too much time on.

Actually.. TextView is a Gtk widget, that won't work for Applets, needs to be a St widget so Entry might be the only option.
