NetsBlox services have very high latency on older Surface

One of the students this semester has an odd issue. Services are very delayed to the point where RoboScape activities were impossible. NetsBlox didn't seem to have an issue.

System specs (it's an older model with a so-so CPU, but the issues only seem to happen on PyBlox):

I'm guessing this was from windows defender or antivirus wanting to halt and inspect everything. It doesn't seem to do that on other Windows machines, but I guess surface pro might be a bit weird. I found a few other potential causes, but without the actual device I can't really test them.

If you still have that student in the class, you could try whitelisting python in windows security and see if that fixes it. Another quick check is if you can open an interactive Python session and try doing a get request to NetsBlox to check the latency, then to a different known good site to see if it's NetsBlox-specific.

I got a chance to test a little bit (unfortunately not comprehensively) before the module was up, using request to netsblox domains in an interactive session had no latency. Using an RPC from this_x_does_not_exist in a loop seemed to run with the expected latency, too. But then we tested his robot controller code again and it took multiple seconds to respond.
