Request: Add Timestamp in logfile

It's good that you can log everything to a file, but quite useless when you don't know when the measuring has taken place?!?!?

I would like to be able to read the log file and plot a graph, but that is not possible as it is now... ;-)

Thanks for the feedback — good point, and I agree.

Including timestamps in the log would make it much more useful for post-analysis and plotting.
Before implementing this, it would be helpful to clarify a few details:
• Should the timestamps be in UTC or local time?
• What format would you prefer? (e.g. ISO 8601: 2026-01-20T14:32:05Z)

My initial thought is to use UTC with ISO 8601 formatting to avoid timezone ambiguity.

Once we align on that, I can add this to the logging output.
