BMS module reverting to fault state?

Hey everyone, I'm hooked up to a single module and keep seeing the error below

Has anyone seen this error before?
I've tried this across a single BMS module in a battery, isolated and separated from a battery, and attached to a custom battery. In all of these cases I get this error + the LED on the module is not lighting up (Which I was able to do running the CANSkeleton program)

Due to the consistency of the errors across different cases I'm thinking there's something wrong with my setup - has anyone else seen this or know of a fix?

Other sidenote is I'm running this on an EVTVDue
