1.80 still not auto starting on restart

Updated to 1,8 same issue loads and just sits there not playing

hello @Hairybiker can you be more specific with what you mean? Like do you expect the app to launch and start playing instantly or like it never plays? Screenshots will go a long way to figuring out what the root of the issue is.

Same as the issue I had with 1.79. It starts up, but doesn't play. Ethernet connection so no delay. I expect it to start playing when launched, or is that is not what auto resume means?

The auto restart function is for trying to restart the stream if it gets disconnected or goes silent. I should probably add more explanation to that setting.

It would be helpful if this were exposed as LastPlaybackState

I am hesitant that this would be enabled by accident then that would start music playing whenever a user logs in to their PC. That sounds like a very annoying experience for users. Do either of you have thoughts on how to avoid a potentially very frustrating experience or avoiding confusion around a new setting for this capability?

Perhaps would be to restore all state settings, but not automatically start playback unless the user explicitly opts in via a setting such as “Resume playback on startup.”

@hetfirma all settings should be restored when the application starts. Was there a setting you were having re-set after opening Trdo?

Aah ok from what I can see,that works fine in the latest version (Packaged)
I would only rename ‘Enable Auto-Resume’ to ‘Auto-recover stream’ than.
What I did miss though, was a function/setting like ‘Resume playback on startup’.
