Steering: design and test column mount #10
Description
DoD: produce a mounting plate that will allow another user to adapt to a motor box.
- First iterations should have threaded mounting points, future iterations will be single piece with the motor box.
- Must be "universal" to compensate for wide variety of columns
- Must be able to hold a 35N horizontal force at the mounting surface (Acceptable to test and measure)
- Only mechanical assumption: column does not move relative to steering wheel
- CAN NOT assume: column is flat, column is level, column can be drilled through
