spacebar does not work correctly in alpha5

Somehow the spacebar is not functioning correctly, often it needs to be hit twice to get a single space, while all other keys work fine i need to go back into what i typed and insert spaces quite a lot.

Here is aline ityped without looking whether the space was actually put intothe text ityped.
