Feature request: Make entire bar clickable.

I have some bars I want to make clickable in it's entirety, not just the parts where there is text.

Surround the whole input with %{A}

Probably it's enough to stick an area spanning the whole bar at the bottom of the stack and avoid clearing it when redrawing, sounds easy...any taker ?
