RSS-Link Icon in the menubar not visible

The RSS link icon was always visible and worked.
Then I removed my googleplus data 2 months ago and saved it. after that the RSS-Link icon was gone. It can be activated in the options, but is not displayed in the menubar.

After a long search in the code, I found the error. Is a logic error.
In the options is enable rss in menubar alone enableable.
But in functions.php from line 216: function comicpress_display_social_icons must be activated.

Either we pull that down in the options or "Enable RSS" comes out of this function.
I would be for 2nd solution. RSS is not social media
