The API should be cleaner. Examples include (but are not limited to) not returning 500 Internal Server Error instead of 404 Not Found, not sending both 200 OK and "status": "OK" in JSON, etc...

Having REST like routes would be a nice bonus.

What is the progress on this issue? More precisely what do we want for v1.0? We can split this in two issues for important things that should be fixed and the other nice stuff that can wait for v2.0.

HTTP Code should be fixed for a long time.
"20X" code for a sucess otherwise it's an error.
The only thing remaining for this issue is the "status" field in the response, but I just remove all status in server and all status check in client should be OK.

OK. #43 should make the client ante-compatible with the changes you propose. We can remove the code related to status all together when the server side is merged. Meanwhile you should be able to do whatever you want (after merging #43) without having to worry about the client.
